Ceiling

I didn't go anywhere where I saw any interesting architecture this week....and wasn't in the mood to drive to search it out.    Didn't want to post a boring pic of a boring house so went to my archives for one of my favs from our Scotland trip.   Ancient architecture is always beautiful.    :)

Holyrood Abbey ruins.  Edinburgh, Scotland.    

I LOVE this ceiling.  Stared at it for a long time.   No frescoes....no sculpture.....just an amazing piece of architecture.
