Field

Fields of sugar cane on Maui.
Frustrating foto at fifty m.p.h.

Dennis pulled the car over for me so I could get a more interesting perspective picture.  Although you can't tell how high the cane is in the pic.....taller than me.

Taller Than you,Wow! And look at that red soil, just like the pinapple fields of Oahu. Glad Dennis stopped for you, car pics are just not the same.

Did you see the "Dirty Shirt" brand t-shirts on Oaha or Kauai? Not sure if its a Maui original or not, but they use the red dirt as dye. The Dirty Jobs show even did a show on it. Kinda cool.

Tim looked for hours and hours for the perfect "Dirty Shirt" but alas he did not find one that was just right. :)

Kaui has very little sugar cane fields left...it was mostly coffee.

I love the green with the red dirt...God is detail oriented ey?

Don't recall seeing any t's with that label on Oahu. But they sound interesting.

I saw that Dirty Jobs. :) It was a fun episode. Cindy, my brain is still trying to wrap around the idea of the cane in the fields being taller than you--it almost looks like a close up shot of grass or something! What a cool thing to be able to see!
